At Taiwan Expo Japan 2023, Purple Media's innovative 360° Super Reality VR dome, Animated AR expo venue experience, and custom-designed booth featuring the Taiwan Open Arms mascot, PaQ, captivated visitors. The immersive VR video and interactive presentations successfully showcased Taiwan's tourism and MICE opportunities, fostering engagement and business connections.

In a dynamic collaboration with MEET Taiwan, Purple Media delivered a captivating and immersive experience at the Taiwan Open Arms booth during the Taiwan Expo Japan held in Tokyo from November 9-11, 2023. Our goal was to create an engaging space that not only showcased Taiwan's beauty and hospitality but also encouraged Japanese businesses to explore MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) opportunities in Taiwan.

Innovative Design and Execution

Purple Media’s centerpiece for the booth was a state-of-the-art 360° Super Reality VR dome. This dome was not just a structure; it was a visual and interactive masterpiece. We designed a custom cover in the shape of the Taiwan Open Arms mascot, PaQ, which adhered to the stringent fire regulations of the venue, ensuring safety without compromising on creativity.

To complement the dome, we crafted custom benches made from recycled cardboard, designed to mimic PaQ's welcoming arms. These benches became an iconic spot within the expo, drawing visitors to relax and engage with the booth, thus enhancing foot traffic and interaction.

Engaging and Immersive Content

A highlight of our project was the creation of a fully immersive 360° VR video. This video, featuring animated sequences of PaQ enjoying various stunning tourist spots in Taiwan, offered visitors a virtual tour like no other. The impact was evident as audiences often clapped at the end of the video, a testament to the engaging content and high-quality production.

Interactive Presentations and Networking

Inside the dome, Purple Media organized regular presentations, showcasing the diverse vendors and organizations present at the booth. These sessions provided a platform for Taiwanese businesses to connect with their Japanese counterparts, fostering trade relationships and potential collaborations.
